About this event

Manny LaCarruba will use free software to measure and "tune" the club Linkwitz LX521.4 speakers to perform better in the room at CHRS.  This will be a working session as Manny creates a better acoustic presentation through the intricacies of speaker placement, acoustical measurement, and digital techniques to balance our speakers sound in a challenging room.

Manny LaCarrubba is an acoustical consultant and loudspeaker designer with 30+ years of experience spanning professional recording studios, architectural acoustics, loudspeaker invention, and high-end residential and commercial audio systems.

Manny is renowned for integrating loudspeaker/room interaction, wide-dispersion waveguide technology, and DSP-based system calibration to achieve consistent, reference-quality sound. A former Chief Engineer at one of the world’s most influential recording studios, Manny is co-inventor of patented loudspeaker technologies adopted by major manufacturers.
