In excellent condition. There are just a few very light scuffs on the special finish which Reference 3A calls "Nextel matte coated cabinet”. These speakers use no crossover so they have a nice smooth frequency response. Beryllium tweeters give very detailed treble. Can be “bi-wired” but I've never tried that. Midrange is full-bodied and rich. You can’t see it in the photos but they are wedge-shaped, deeper bottom than top so front panel is slanted back slightly. I bought these in 2015 and have been very happy with them but I got the DIY itch a couple years ago and built my own Troels Gravensen kit speakers so I need to sell the de Capos. You can have the DIY speaker stands as well. I made them specifically for the de Capos out of wood and concrete so they are very stable—and heavy! I also have the original box they were sent in.
I paid $2960. I think they retail now for over $3000. Asking $1500.
